THE GUIDE 2009 London and Berlin
Sculpture: Installation in variable locations within London and exhibited at the 2009 Celeste Prize in Berlin. WINNER 2009 International Art Prize Celeste

These installations follow the initial showing of the sculpture in New York City in 2008 and 2009.
The artwork consists of a series of piles of leaves, that move in the smooth motion of a resting breath, the piece is silent except for the sound of the leaves touching one another. Site specific to the city, the artwork is installed in both outdoor and indoor spaces, and lasts anything from a few hours to a few weeks. Powered by an artificial mechanical breathing mechanism, the work is a permanent sculpture, who's life is documented, by film and photographs whenever it is shown during the fall and autumn time of year.
